Welcome to Issue 16 of the Third Dimension disk magazine for 3D
Construction Kit 1 and 2 users on all computer formats.A special
welcome to all new PC kit 1 users who now have kit1 courtesy of
PC Format.Next months issue will have some very easy routines
featuring variables and instruments just for you!The kit1 program
may look a little daunting to you but we will guide you through it
so that you will become an expert too.
Please note that it would save a great deal of expense for me
if you could enclose a self stamped addressed envelope if you
require a personal reply to your letter.Alternatively you could
wait for a reply to appear in the disk Letters section.
SPECIAL OFFER THIS MONTH!!!!
3 PD disks for the price of two for this month only!!! Yes 3 disks
will only cost you £2.00. Take a look at the PD library section
which features lots of new disks!
This month there are two demos to try out from Peter Ward. There is
also a fast 3D kit animation routine. Also part three of the excellent
kit 2 tutorial,a set of user fades to try out for various
effects and a new puzzle game to try out in the OUR-TOWN datafile
which now has a new border.Atari/Amiga owners will find Thunderbird
1,2,3 and Lady Penelope's car objects saved off as areas which
were created by Peter and I. There are some excellent games
reviewed in the Reviews section and we have profiles of Amiga
kit user - Antony Quinn and also PC user - Nigel Alefounder this
month.Plus lots more!
If you have missed any back issues of the diskmag, they are all
available on all formats.Another SPECIAL OFFER for this month
only!- Any back issue for only 80 pence each.Only on offer for
this month at this special price.Previous disks feature game
demos,samples,tutorials,the kit 1 beginners game,borders,
brushanims,routines and lots more!
Thanks to Nigel for informing me that 3D kit 1 is on this months
coverdisk of PC Format. We should hopefully have a larger increase
in members when they all get to know about our user group and diskmag.
Mandys presence is absent from this months disk due to family
commitment healthwise.Mandy informs me that she will be back next
month as usual. We all wish her well.
So what has been happening at Tony Towers I hear you ask? Well I have
been trying to find the Samples which Robin Ball sent to me,but I
appear to have lost them.OOPs! Perhaps he will send me some more.I
have also been busy creating another game which I hope will be as
successful as what War of the Worlds was on the Atari. The only
trouble is that this new one is infinately more complex than what
that one was.I have also finished The Devils Abode for the Amiga
and I have noticed that PD libraries are already advertising
this.I have spent two weeks trying to clean up my hard drive
which seems to have accumulated all manner of programs.I read
that if you don't use a program from your drive within two
weeks, you should bin it.If this is the case, why is my hard drive
still nearly full? Surely i don't use over 200 programs in a
fortnight? I think that i will have to go through everything
again!
If you want to buy 3D Construction kit 1 or 2 then contact Mandy
Rodrigues.Telephone O1492 8773O5.
